The Patch has won best school food project at this years awards ceremony.

The judges were hugely impressed by the impact that this project is making, within the school itself and the wider community. The reach, scale and sustainability of what they are doing is fantastic and they’ve made themselves a terrific example of what can be achieved, above and beyond the simple concept of a school garden. Lights, Camera, Action…

On Wednesday 10th Sept, the BBC will be visiting the Patch to film “a day in the life”. It will be included in a new BBC show called Gardens from Above, due to be aired later this year.

As usual we have a jam packed day – can’t wait to show off the Patch!
