ggfaOn 10th September 2014, a film crew from the BBC came to the Patch to film for a new TV show, to be aired later in the year. We are proud to announce that The Patch made it onto Episode 13 of Series 1 of Glorious Gardens from Above.

A big thank you to everyone involved – the 7 minute feature was amazing and really did show off The Patch in all its glory.

We have been overwhelmed by the support and interest our feature has created and hope it helps allow The Patch to continue to grow in both strength and popularity.

The video can be viewed here (we feature at approx. 23minutes in). If this link no longer works, please contact The Patch via the_patch_sheringham@yahoo.co.uk to request a copy.

The Patch has won best school food project at this years awards ceremony.

The judges were hugely impressed by the impact that this project is making, within the school itself and the wider community. The reach, scale and sustainability of what they are doing is fantastic and they’ve made themselves a terrific example of what can be achieved, above and beyond the simple concept of a school garden. With ambitious development plans, it’s a model of a community smallholding that richly deserves the recognition of this award (Read the full article here).

A big thank you to everyone who has and who continues to support the Patch.
